Awesome experience in the store. Friendly, helpful, knowledgeable, and professional. I live in Texas but will shop this fly shop via the internet and in person on my visits to fish.

Should have stopped by before fishing not after. 😂.

Best fly shop is Missoula. Great selection of flies and gear. I’ve been on two guided trips down the Blackfoot with Brian and he put us on the fish both times. When a guide tells you the type of trout a hole holds before you hit it and then land that fish, it’s a sign he knows the water. Tight lines🎣

My husband booked my first fly fishing trip for my birthday with The Missoulian Angler Fly Shop. It was fantastic from beginning to end!

Jim spoke to Walker & Taylor to book our fly fishing trip.

Derek greeted us when we arrived at the shop.

Brian was our guide for the day. He was extremely knowledgeable, patient and an excellent teacher. We couldn't have asked for a better guide!

It was 94F that day. We didn't think we were going to catch any fish, due to the temperatures.

My husband caught 4 fish, 2 Rainbow Trout, 1 Brown Trout & 1 Cut Throat.

I caught 1 Rainbow Trout, 1 Brown Trout & 1 White Fish.

It was a fun, exciting and beautiful experience. We're excited to book again with Brian.

My wife and I tried fly fishing for the first time on a visit to Missoula and we had an outstanding experience. Sam was a perfect guide - very knowledgeable, an excellent teacher, with a great attitude. Cannot recommend highly enough.

I went out with Mike on Friday and had a great time! He was a great teacher, patient, knowledgeable and just fun to hang out with on the raft. Weather was perfect, the lunch from the deli was amazing and I have no complaints. They were very accommodating to my schedule and the fact that I hadn’t picked up my rental yet. And yes, I caught lots of fish. Can’t wait to get back out and do it all over again. Thanks!!

Super kind and helpful! I didn’t get his name but the gentleman from Dallas was super helpful and excited to help with my unique request. We were heading to Thompson Falls and I had no idea what we needed and my husband had no idea where we were going so he couldn’t help me. They hooked us up and we caught tons of fish with their selections and even caught a bass on a streamer! We will be back next time we are in Missoula for sure! Thanks again guys!

We got to go on a fly fishing 4 hour float with an exceptional guide, Brian. My husband wanted to catch a Brown trout, and boy did he make that happen! Even I caught alot of fish, and I am a beginner. We were both impressed with his patience and knowledge.
