The Blackfoot river fly fishing has been decent lately. The river is still running pretty cold and not much for dry fly action this time of year.
The streamer fishing and nymphing can be good this time of year by focusing on deep, slow inside seams.
Warmer weather next week on tap should improve the fishing, but don't expect phenomenal dry fly fishing like we will see on our other streams this time of year.

How's it going to be in a couple weeks?
The warmer weather coming should improve the fishing on the Blackfoot river. Decent hatches of BWO and March Browns should show up, but don't expect much in terms of Skwala hatches.
